Jolly Santa

Happy Friday!!! Today I'm playing along with Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge :)

Here's my card featuring Happy Santa from Pretty Pink Posh (Gosh! Lots of "HAPPY" around here today, right?!?!!! *wink)

Not too long ago I was at a crafty retreat and my sweet friend, Dana, let me borrow this set. (Thanks so much, Dana!!!) He's got to be one of the cutest Santas I've ever seen! I love him!

My layout was inspired by a technique I saw Lynn Dunn use. I believe she calls it the "Scrappy Strip Technique." Such a super fun way to use patterned paper! You can check out her post HERE.

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Fall Neighbor Gifts

Hello there! Today I'm playing along with The Four Seasons Challenge: November Anything Goes Fall :)

I recently put together some festive little gift bags to deliver to our neighbor friends.

Here are the tags I made using the Pumpkin Treat Wrap Dies from Taylored Expressions:

I stamped a simple sentiment from Tiny Tagalongs (Concord and 9th), die-cut it using Tasteful Labels (Stampin' Up), and adhered it to the back:

I made 15 tags...5 of each color:
I found some cute white and kraft striped bags in my stash (I've had them for so long I can't even remember where I bought them) and filled them with chocolates and other candies. I closed the bags up with a strip of ribbon, the pumpkin tags and some clothespins. I think they turned out super cute!!!

And here they are...all ready to be delivered to our neighbors' mailboxes!!! Fun!!!

I love making little packages like this and sharing them with neighbor friends! It brings so much joy!!!

Thank you for visiting :)

Have a wonderful day!!!

Harvest Blessings

Happy Saturday! Today I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Thanks/Thanksgiving. This was my first attempt at a Z-Fold card, a fun fold technique that I learned from one of Rachel Tessman's YouTube videos (you can check that video out HERE).

Here are a couple of more views to give you a better idea of what the "Z-Fold" looks like:

I had so much fun trying out this new-to-me fun fold and creating this card!

Thanks for visiting!!!
