Wishing You A Happy Easter

I don't have very many Easter-themed supplies, so I went with some Springtime florals and an Easter sentiment. I was so happy with how this little number turned out that I made another in a different color combo:

Happy Birthday

Happy Saturday! Today I'm playing along with the Seize the Birthday Challenge: Things In A Garden. Fun!!!

The Butterflies Hot Foil Plate/Stencils/Dies from Pinkfresh Studio are some of my favorites and here I've paired them up with a new-to-me 3D embossing folder called Rose Bouquet from Altenew. I think these products work so well together! LOVE it!!!

Just look at all of that fabulous shimmer and shine from the foiling:
 

I was so excited about how this turned out that I made another one in magenta:

Happy Anniversary

Today I'm playing along with two challenges: (1) Freshly Made Sketches Challenge and (2) NBUS (Never-Before-Used-Schtuff) Challenge.

Here's what I created:

 

My parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary later this month, so I wanted to make them an extra special card. Since the 50th anniversary of marriage is also known as the "Golden Anniversary" I broke out some hot foil plates and gold foil :) I've had these glimmer hot foil plates in my stash for awhile but this is my first time using them (It's that good old "I shop way faster than I craft" problem----ha!)

These magnolias are so gorgeous! I'm really excited about how this turned out :) I hope my parents love it!

Happy Sunday! Today I'm playing along with the March 2023 Happy Little Stampers "Anything Goes With Dies Challenge."

My project features stamps, dies, and designer series papers from the Sun Prints Suite by Stampin' Up. This suite of products is absolutely stunning!!! I love it!
 

AND...my "card" is not just a card---the decorated front panel actually opens up and is a gift card holder :) I learned how to make these gift card holders from Karen Titus. You can check out her video tutorial HERE.

So...you slip your gift card in the pocket...and then you still have the blank card to write your message...
 

I first made this style of gift card holder to package up some gift cards we gave to my parents for Christmas. My mom was so excited about them that she's requested several more for her own personal use. She'll be using this one for my aunt and uncle's upcoming wedding anniversary. I hope they love it!

Have I mentioned how much I absolutely LOVE these Beautiful Butterflies from Catherine Pooler Designs?!?!!! I simply cannot stop creating with them!!!

I made this card to enter into the March 2023 Happy Little Stampers Birthday Challenge: "Anything Goes."

I was inspired by a card I saw on the Catherine Pooler website in the product description section for the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set. With Sympathy

Our neighbor's dad passed away recently and I wanted to make her a special card to let her know we care. The prompt over at AAA Cards Challenge was the perfect inspiration.

 

I pulled out some oldies but goodies for this one. Anyone remember Practicing Creativity Designs (PCD)??? The butterfly silhouettes and the tall grass silhouettes on the left are both from Nature's Wonder by PCD. That set was designed by my incredibly talented friend, Karen Baker, and I refuse to part with it for that very reason :) The floral silhouettes are from an old Papertrey Ink set called Botanical Silhouettes. It's been in my stash for AGES and I still love it.

Hang In There

Hello there! Today I'm sharing a card I created using this fantastic sketch over at Just Add Ink:

My card features some super fun new goodies from Catherine Pooler!

I used the Hang In There stamp set (which was free with purchase while supplies last) and the coordinating die. I absolutely LOVE that macrame wall hanging image---it's so unique and totally fabulous!!! Here I inked it up in Spruce, Sage, and Matcha inks (Catherine Pooler) to create an ombre effect. Fun!
 

I heat embossed the sentiment in gold. Always tough to capture in photos. Here's another view:
