Playing along with a couple of challenges today: (1) The Male Room Challenge: Stencils And/Or Dies and (2) Never-Before-Used-Schtuff Challenge :)
This was my first time using the Moon Bay Stencil Trio from Waffle Flower. I love the beautiful, peaceful scene this set of stencils creates. However...I was SOOO indecisive about my color choices. Anyone else struggle with that when it comes to stencil sets??? I have such a tough time visualizing how it's going to come together in the end. Well...after several attempts I was pleased with how this one turned out and decided it would be a good card to send to our nephew who was recently deployed to eastern Africa. What do you think?
I hope he'll be excited to get some happy mail from back home.
Thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!!!

ReplyDeleteThis turned out great, Lisa! No signs of a struggle here!
ReplyDeleteOh my, your color choices are awesome. This is the most amazing scene and such a gorgeous stencil. I do struggle with color choices and have sometimes thrown a card away because it didn't work with the colors I picked. This, however, is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel confident enough to even use these stencils, Lisa, so I haven't gotten to the color choices part, lol! But your color choices are splendid and so is your execution ~ love the reflecting light! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
