Hello there! Today I'm playing along with the current Seize the Birthday Challenge: "Metallic"

I created this card for my awesome friend, Abby, whose birthday is next week :) She's one of my favorite hiking buddies and to celebrate her special day she, her 10 year old son, and I are going on an overnight backpacking adventure. The view in those sunglasses is what we're aiming for! Send positive vibes our way!

I heat embossed the sunglasses in gold---LOVE the way they shine in real life! Then I did some ink blending on the lenses and stamped the gorgeous mountain scenery on top. The background panel is embossed with a new-to-me embossing folder called Montagnes (Simply Graphic)----definitely going to be a go-to for me----it's absolutely fabulous!!!

Happy Saturday! Today I'm sharing a card I made for the current AAA Birthday Challenge :) This time around the theme is "flowers"---perfect for finally inking up the Full Of Flowers Cling and Clear Combo from Taylored Expressions.

I am completely SMITTEN with this collection of goodies! They're so much fun to use and the possibilities are endless!!! I will be making loads more cards with these products for sure! Plus, I haven't even used the coordinating stencils yet!!! Can't wait to break those out!

Hello there! The theme for the current Make The Cards Challenge is "masculine cards"---perfect timing with Father's Day right around the corner :)

Not too long ago Waffle Flower released a set of dies called Cutlines, and I immediately added it to my loooonnnnnggg wish list. It's still on the list, but in the meantime I thought I'd try combining some other die sets I already own in an attempt to create a similar look. I'm really happy with the results! I'll be giving this one to my dad for Father's Day :)

Crafty Thanks

Hello there! Playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. This time around Simon Says: Anything Goes :)

Two of my neighbor girlfriends recently co-hosted a crafty night here in the mountainhood. It was so much fun and those of us who attended decided to pitch in and give each hostess a gift card as a thank you for all of the time and energy they put into the event :) The Art From The Heart Background Stamp from Taylored Expressions was perfect for creating a couple of thank you cards to go along with those gift cards:

I didn't take many photos during the crafty night, but here's a look at some of the decorated notepads we made using pieces that our hostess, Clare, cut out with her Cricut machine. There were pieces to make pandas, sloths, penguins, and foxes. So super cute!!!
