Enjoy Your Special Day

It's snowing here in the mountains today, so I'm having lots of fun spending time in my craft studio and making cards for upcoming birthdays :)

The theme at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is "Anything Goes." I'm linking this one up over there:

My neighbor friend has a birthday coming up later in April. We really enjoy going on hiking adventures together, so I thought this Mountain Scene Cover Plate from Erin Lee Creative was the perfect fit for making her a card for her special day!

She also loves bright, happy colors, and that's what inspired my color combo.

I paired my scene up with a foiled sentiment from an ephemera pack by Pinkfresh Studio. These are so handy to have around and I love the touch of shimmer they add to my creations!

And that's it. Pretty simple. No stamping on this one (*gasp)! That's a rarity for me ;)

Thanks for visiting!

Have a great day!!!

  1. What a fun die set! I think your friend will love this, it's fabulous, Lisa! I'll bet your snow in the mountains is beautiful, but I'm so glad it's there and not here!!

  2. The snow was wonderful yesterday - the record setting cold today not so much. Your card is gorgeous - LOVE the bold colors on the beautiful scene.
